A personal finance roadmap to conquer your finances

Recapping from my last post about managing your money, I added the next step to my money roadmap here. There is a lot of debate about whether you should invest while you have debt & it has been intriguing to hear both sides.

If you will sleep better and live more stress-free knowing you have no debt, then it may be more beneficial for you to focus on paying off your debt before investing. If you have low interest debt and having debt doesn't keep you up at night or add additional stress to your life then investing while continuing to pay off debt may be the right choice for you.

A huge point I learned from this discussion is that it is a personal decision. Even more important and cool, in my opinion, is that the best thing about personal finance is that it's personal! This is so important to understand because all your money decisions are based off what you want to achieve.

I decided it was in my best interest to invest while I still have debt. However, it is crucial to note that my debt is low interest.

 invest early & invest often
